Record numbers of students from disadvantaged schools progressed to third-level colleges last year following the introduction of the calculated grades system for Leaving Cert students, new data shows.

While we remain far from the equitable, accountable and just society we should be, this struggle has changed the world and will continue to do so.
New evaluation boards from GaN Systems GaN Systems has launched several new evaluation boards â the latest with MinDCet, a power semiconductor design house, for a 100V Half-Bridge evaluation kit.
The 100V Half-Bridge evaluation kit provides testing capabilities for quick implementation and demonstrates the ease-of-use, high performance, and flexibility of GaN transistor and driver combinations.
The evaluation kit includes the MinDCet MDC901 GaN driver and two GaN Systems GS61008P E-mode GaN power transistors that are connected in a high-side, low-side configuration as well as all the necessary drive circuitry.
The 100V Half-Bridge evaluation kit is used to evaluate GaN in various converter applications including, highly efficient server PoL converters, high-voltage pulsers for MEMS (e.g., ultrasound transducers, MEMS switches), high precision motor control, DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, and Class-D audio amplifiers.
